Henry Waterson (of Waterson, Berlin and Snyder Music Publishers)
announced the introduction of Little Wonder Phonograph Records in
the October, 1914, issue of "Talking Machine World."
The immediate success of these ten-cent discs prompted Waterson
to expand into player piano rolls in February, 1915, as announced
in the 20 February, 1915, issue of "Variety."
While the discs were fabricated by Columbia until their bankruptcy
in 1923, the provenance of the rolls is unclear. I've never seen
any of them made post-WWI.
