Repairing Player Grand Piano Legs
By Mike Walter

Hi all, I have just acquired a 1924 5'2" Knabe Ampico grand, which
is in pretty good condition. One concern I have is that all of the
double legs have either vertical cracks in the middle of the mahogany
veneer or at a corner, where the mahogany has separated from the
(maple?) underneath.

Is it the time to replace the legs, or can they be salvaged? Thank
you for your time!

Best wishes,
Mike Walter
