My past and older posts relate to mechanical music excerpts heard
in a smorgasbord of television related jazz, such as the fairground
commercial produced by Looney Tunes (via Warner Brothers) for Tang
orange juice along with the sounds of an unknown band organ playing
excerpts of the T.R.T. arrangement "Pretending" in an episode of
Mister Ed.
In an episode of DuckTales on the new streaming service Disney+ (the
original series from 1987, not the 2017 reboot), entitled "Bubbeo
& Juliet", during one scene when Scrooge McDuck and his new wealthy
neighbor are having a war with each other, Scrooge's neighbor decides
to set up an entire carnival/fairground in his yard to disrupt
Scrooge's peace.
If one listens carefully, a quick excerpt of Ralph's Tussing mid- to
late-150 arrangement "Baruska Polka" from roll 13288, played by an
unknown Wurlitzer machine (either a 146 or a 153), can be heard at
the start of the scene.
Stay safe, everyone!
