Passing of Julio Gosdinski, Griffith Park Carousel
By Andrew Lardieri

While on a Monday night drive with my father today I learned of
the sudden and unexpected passing of Griffith Park carousel operator
Julio Gosdinski, who died in his sleep last Friday at the age of 49.
Gosdinski co-owned the 1926 4-abreast Spillman/Looff machine in a
long-time partnership with fellow owner Rosemary West.

Rest in peace, Mr. Gosdinski; you will most surely be dearly missed
and remembered by many carousel and mechanical music fans.
