The AMICA Bulletin's latest September / October 2020 edition has been
released and the electronic version has been sent to AMICA's electronic
subscriber members. The print version should be received by most USA
members by August 15.
Even in these challenging times, mechanical music, AMICA's underpinning
of same, and the remarkable ways all of us enjoy our music while
spending more time at home is the perfect antidote to our missed
physical meetings, rallies, remote functions, and other activities.
Among the lead articles in this issue are Wayne Finger's story about
designing and building his mechanical Maestro Automatic Banjo; Matt
Jaro's technical MIDI dissection about unlocking Cakewalk software's
secrets; and some needed humor from Dave Bowers, "The Nickelodeon
Collector's Handbook".
There are several other articles, profiles, columns, perspective, and
even some chapter reports.
