Orchestra conductor Edmund M. Rosner arrived in San Francisco in 1887
with "Rosner's Hungarian Orchestra", later billed as "Rosner's Electric
Orchestra". He was the musical director of the San Francisco Orpheum
Theatre from 1897 until his death in 1916.
