I have read a few articles that people were playing their organ
for their neighbors. Last Saturday evening we were invited to our
neighbor's graduation party. One of the other neighbors was there
and confronted me with, "Hey, you sure had nice patriotic music
playing on the 4th of July!"
I was playing a roll of John Philip Sousa marches and he said that
was so appropriate and with his foot tapping it almost brought tears
to his eyes. He was very much appreciative and it made me wonder how
many others in the neighborhood heard this (people are listening!).
Thanks,

[ Ralph, That's a great story. There are so many great tunes like
[ that on music rolls. One of my favorites is the "Washington Post"
[ march. Perhaps that tune was on your roll? -- Jody
