Due to the Covid-19 virus all of the local Independence Day parades
were canceled. So we held our own. We have done the Sierra Madre
Fourth of July Parade fifteen times, but not this year.
We parked the 1930 Model A Pickup with a Tangley CA-43 calliope in
its bed on the driveway and played for the block. Then we drove
around the nearby Silver Lake Reservoir. We had one to six cars
follow us, some voluntarily and some not. We played:

It was fun but not like the crowds at the Sierra Madre parade with the
kids dancing and waving their flags to the calliope music. Maybe next
year.
