My Grind Organ Web Page Update
By Ingmar Krause

The time has come for me to update my webpage. Not only because that
was long overdue and because I've had now the time during coronavirus
lockdown to do so, but most importantly because there have been some
significant changes. See http://www.grindorgans.com/

Having this information "buried" (what an unfortunate choice of word
by me) within this post doesn't really do the circumstances justice.
But, as many might have learned, Josef Raffin has recently (prior to
the pandemic) passed.

His company was already on the verge of some changes, but the death
of Mr. Raffin has made even more fitting this announcement: that
henceforth no new Raffin organs are being manufactured!

The focus for the family will shift to the sale of music and servicing
of organs, with the occasional sale of a used organ or two. And, stock
permitting, also the sale of remaining other parts and accessories.

My page, however, is geared towards the marketing of new-built grind
organs. In addition to my pre-existing dealings with both Wittmann and
Stueber, I have now added the Deleika company to my page. With these
newly added names a complete spectrum of street organs continues on in
my online catalogue.  All other retailers for Deleika remain the same;
so if you prefer dealing with any of them, that is not a problem.

I've now also added a section for second-hand listings. That section
will be populated by any offers that pop up -- for example, through
Raffin. But everybody is welcome to submit organ(ette) sales for my
page as well. You would be surprised how often I get requests for
cheap second-hand instruments!

Should you have a non-functioning instrument you would like to sell,
you have the option to send it to me and I will repair it before
putting it up on the webpage for you.

Aside from the webpage redesign, I filled my lockdown time by arranging
more 20-note music. Through these efforts the list on Wittmann's roll
page has now grown to an impressive length. Many "must-have" modern
tunes are in this list. So do take a look!

Some areas of the page remain works in progress, but the site is fully
useable. Just check back in once in a while for updates.

Musically,
