AMICA Bulletin July-August 2020 Issue Released
By Glenn Thomas
The July-August 2020 edition of the AMICA Bulletin has been released.
Electronic edition subscribers should be receiving their PDF copy
about now, and printed copies should arrive in most subscribers
mailboxes by about June 20.
This issue profiles one of the revitalizers of today's mechanical
music, David Bowers, in Matt Jaro's "Nickel Notes" contribution.
Francis Bowdery writes a revealing essay about "There Ain't No Such
Thing as a Hand-Played Roll." The secret of 3D printing in mechanical
music is unlocked by two different authors who explain this new
technology for old uses! Plus, several other articles and columns
that make this edition one not to be missed.
