Although the information was withheld from public notice for several
days out of respect for his family, I think it is time to release the
sad news of the death of Mark S. Chester.  Mark succumbed to a terminal
illness on March 23, 2020.  The news of his contracting that illness
was published in the 20.01.05 MMD, along with a sketch of Mark's life

Mark was a Board member of the National Carousel Association and a
carousel and band organ enthusiast.  He was a good and long-time friend
of many people with similar interests.

We will miss you, Mark, and grieve for your not having the chance to
accomplish all of your many dreams.
