Norman, Greetings from The Bronx! In regard to your inquiry, judging
from the instrument's tonality and arrangement, what you have is not
a recording of a band organ, but that of a Welte Orchestrion.
(This is much like a similar situation wherein Klavier Records put out
a great CD of what they called 'Carousels of Europe'. The only problem
is that none of the recordings are of band organs or fairground organs;
all of the contained selections are of very large European orchestrions!
Don't get me wrong, the CD is full of marvelous music, worthy of
anyone's collection!)
Hope this helps,
