Seek Crank and Weight for Austrian Organ
By William Edgerton

I seek a crank and lead weight for an Austrian organ of mid-19th
century. The weight should have a footprint of 4.5 x 5 inches or be
a bit smaller and be 5 or more inches in height and weigh 80+ pounds.

I've tried a pile of 1/2-inch steel plates the right size but the
pile gets too high to work. The crank is size 16 -- which is a large
size -- but all I have found are grandfather clock cranks too small
in size to conveniently lift 80 or more pounds even if they fit.
I need something with a larger cranking radius and more heft. Any
suggestions as to sources would be most welcome.

Regards,

Bill Edgerton
