Thought I would share a couple of fond memories of Jasper. Many years ago
we attended the smallwood auction in San Francisco Calif. We had driven
all night to get there, my father and myself sat right in the front row,
and someone asked us to move because this was for the Sanfilippo party.
Unkown to me, Jasper said his party could move over, stay seated. Just
the kind of gracious person he was. Upon one of M.B.S.I. meeting held
an open house at Jaspers estate, upon arriving I did not know where to
look first, between the steam engines, art and orchestrions I was amazed.
Jasper came over and asked if I was enjoying myself and wanted to hear
anything special. He was a gracious and kind person, which above all loved
to share his magnificent collection to all who were interested.
