Recutting Duo-Art Grieg Concerto in A-minor
By Ed Chaban

John Hupcey's efforts with Julian Dyer are to be commended, and I hope
this will not be the last time collectors work together to get great
renditions recut.

in the mid-1990s I released a few Duo-Art and Ampico titles on my
"Patriot" label with the help of the Malone's at Play-Rite. I needed
to order at least a dozen copies of each title. Had I not gotten
commitments to buy beforehand, I never would have able to pull it off.
I did this all by snail mail before the internet was popular.

I've said it many times before: the future of recutting is getting us
all to cooperate and insure that what gets recut does not sit silent
on a shelf.
