Seek Scott Joplin Ragtime in "O-Roll" Format
By Tony Stratton

From old piano rolls dated around 1899 there are presentations of Scott
Joplin himself playing his own compositions (e.g., Maple Leaf, Weeping
Willow, Something Doing, Magnetic Rag, etc.). These have been captured
in MP3 format and even transcribed into sheet scores.

Has anyone ever reissued these gems into "O-roll" format to replicate
his performance on machines which require O-format? Can this be done?
What might be lost, if anything?
