For sale: a Polyphon Concerto 1 sold by Regina in 1903. This was
part of the Mangles American Museum of Public Recreation, Coney Island,
New York, 1927-1953. In 1955 the Horn Brothers bought the contents of
the Mangles Museum and added to their museums in Sarasota, Florida,
known as Horn's Cars of Yesterday & Music Box Arcade.
In 1965 the Horns sold the museum to Walt Bellm's Cars and Music of
Yesterday. This is where, in 1994, I acquired the Polyphon Concerto.
There are very few of these in the United States. The instrument plays
32" (80 cm) discs; ten discs are with this machine. Perfect for
advanced collection or museum. Price: $20,000.
