Seek Kranich & Bach Upright Player Action
By Dave Krall

I need a Kranich & Bach upright player action, primarily the player
stack. I recently purchased an upright Kranich & Bach 88-note player
piano in a beautiful Mission Style case (that's the reason I purchased
it). The piano was in Sacramento, California, and I had it shipped to
the Chicago area and it just arrived today.

I started to disassemble the piano for cleaning and discovered that
a piano technician/tuner removed the wires that connect the pneumatics
to the wooden levers (which are also missing) that lift the whippens.
The lady I purchased the piano from had acquired it from an aunt and
she had been using the piano to take lessons on and not as a player
and she would not have known about the missing parts.

Attached are links to John Tuttle's Player-Care where you can see the
wires and the levers that are missing. Two of the pneumatics are also
missing with their fingers.

Somewhere, someone must have the parts or stack I need.

Thanks,

Dave Krall
