My apologies to anyone who thought the 44-note Melodico was anything
but a figment of my imagination, or just plain lousy typing.

Sadly, I did not find a one-of-a-kind 44-note anything.  Still, the
48-note instrument sitting on my kitchen table is a wonder of its own.
And people I tell about it either think it must be a really neat piece,
or they look at me like I must be nuts.  I'm sure the truth is
somewhere in the middle, but as long as I'm happy... whatever.

And my thanks to those who've given me sources to pursue and peruse.
I'll report back when progress is made.  Today I'm busy searching for
a glass table to set the Melodico on -- really!  Glass is amazingly
strong.

Now there's that look again.  It's going to be beautiful, or I must be
nuts.
