Mechanical Music Dealer in NYC Area in 1970s
By Mark Kinsler

A friend, age 72, reminisced about a place near New York City that
had mechanical violins, organs, and a huge calliope in the parking lot.
The $5 admission fee seemed steep, but they spent a joyous day there.

I told her about the mechanical music community and said that I'd
see if I could find out what the name and location of the place was.
I know of only one, which was in Darien, Connecticut, and my memories
of that are dim. Would there have been other candidates?
