In response to Arlie Rauch's question about Seeburg roll tracking:
I have a Seeburg L (using an A roll) and a Seeburg KT Special (using
a G roll). Both spool frames have an adjustment nut which moves the
tracker bar side to side. When a new roll is placed on the spool frame,
the tracker bar is realigned to that roll using this nut. After that,
further roll alignment is generally not needed. The holes in A and G
rolls are so widely spaced that active tracking adjustment was not
provided by Seeburg.
However, if the roll does not track true, it could be that the flanges
are not tight on the roll, allowing the paper to wander back and fourth.
In this case, take the roll off, loosen and snug up the drive flange,
then tighten the flange and reinstall the roll.
Hope this helps.
