YouTube is dangerous -- it's possible to spend an evening watching
Automated Musical Instruments play!  But there are other sounds out
there, I think you'd agree.  Many of them are automatable and many
demonstrate their mechanical music origins.

Some are just weird but one man's collection of trash is another
man's violin!  What's interesting is how many of them demonstrate
