Calling all crank organs and a few good band organs!  The 2019
National Carousel Association convention will be September 11-15,
in the Washington, DC, region.

On Friday, September 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, dinner will be at
Historic Eastern Market on Capitol Hill.  As part of renting this
wonderful space, we will be holding a crank organ concert and
inviting the public.  We are looking for people with crank organs
who would like to join us and share these wonderful instruments.
This is an indoor event and electricity is available, so small band
organs or calliopes are also welcome.  Dinner and parking provided.

On Saturday, September 14, from 11:30 am to 4 pm, we will be Glen Echo
Park.  The 1921 Dentzel carousel will be closed for building repairs.
With the style 165 Wurlitzer band organ silent, it would be lovely
if crank organs also came to Glen Echo.  And, because it is outdoors
with available electricity, a large band organ can be accommodated.
