Ethnic Swedish Piano Roll Music From the 1920s
By Larry Schuette
I keep a Schiller upright player piano in the historic church at the
Camp Creek Thresher Show near Waverly, Nebraska. Every year in July,
I play piano roll music at their celebration.
This year I plan to play German, Bohemian and Swedish music to honor
the earlier immigrants who settled in this area. I have plenty of
German and Bohemian piano rolls from the 1920s but I'm not sure what
I have for Swedish piano roll music. I may have Swedish rolls in my
vast collection but not sure what their titles may be. Are their any
Swedish heritage guys out there who could help me out with titles?
