FS Free: Coinola Reproduco in Alameda, Calif.
By Jerry Wagner

I already have a nice operating Reproduco. Let's call it Reproduco #1.
It's the type that plays easily changeable rolls like a player piano.
These are essentially OS and NOS rolls that have been cut into halves
or thirds.

I bought Reproduco #2 for its top front board, vacuum pump, motor, and
nickelodeon style ["long roll"] spoolbox. My plan was to switch these
parts over to working Reproduco #1.

The rest of Reproduco #2 is all there. The previous owner disassembled
the stack and cleaned its parts. The parts seem to be complete. He
spent $1,200 on plating. The pipes and chests are nice and untouched.
All panels, shutters, pedals, etc., are included. The soundboard
appears intact and would likely fit most Coinola nickelodeons.

Further, my working Reproduco #1 has the wrong pump. It is blower
only with no vacuum. So a modern separate vacuum box has been added.
Reproduco #2 has the correct pump (blower plus vacuum) for Reproduco #1.
It needs rebuilding.

Reproduco #2, less the top-end parts I am keeping, is free for local
pick-up. Ideally I can find someone to rebuild the top-end and blower.
I would then be glad to give them the single roll working top-end, top
front board and working blower/vacuum unit from Reproduco #1.

This is confusing to write up -- let me know what works for you.

Regards,

Jerry Wagner
