I'm for anything that gets more people interested in and receptive to
our interest area. The name means nothing at all: "What's in a name?
That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
"Steampunk" mixing of hand-made things and the digital perfectly
encompasses the player piano.
At preserved steam railways I've met Steampunk groups in full dress
(top hats with goggles), and a pianola-friend observed they probably
have houses with new stuff.
But while _we_ dress blandly, we live our lives using (very) old stuff
routinely -- we probably have more Steampunk in our lives than theirs!
