Unknown Style 125 Band Organ Roll is No. 3800
By Matthew Caulfield

Ken Lauderback requested information about the roll number of the
roll being played in the YouTube clip which he showed in his 190421
MMD posting titled "Unknown Style 125 Band Organ Roll."

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmi3gHRmWxY

I recognized the organ and its owner "Doug" from various clues in
the video. The roll is roll 3800, perforated a few years ago by
Douglas Hershberger at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum
from original Wurlitzer masters owned by the Museum and cut on an
original Wurlitzer perforator (No. 11 or 12, if my memory serves).

That roll was originally titled by the Museum, "W.W.II Remembered."
It proved very popular and has been recut several times by Doug,
(and re-titled) with slight tune-order changes such as making
"God Bless America" tune 1 on the roll. Right now roll 3800 is out
of stock, but Doug plans to recut it again as soon as he catches up
with backorders, after being laid up by shoulder replacement surgery.

The contents of the first version of Doug's roll 3800 can be seen
at the end of this long PDF webpage:
