Unknown Band Organ At Ocean City, Maryland
By David Burgess

Hi, I'm David Leslie Burgess, a mechanical music enthusiast. On my
trip in September, 2018, to Ocean City, Maryland, I rode the historic
Herschell-Spillman carousel at Trimper's Rides and Amusement Park.

Near one of the rides I noticed a band organ of unknown origin, not
operating. It looked like a Wurlitzer 125, but it has no company name
on it. Could it be one of Bill Kromer's organs, or something else?
If you need to reply, my email is below.

Thanks,
David Leslie Burgess

[ On page 28 in Carousel Organ, Issue No. 34-January, 2008, is a photo
[ of a band organ with its builder, Bill Kromer, and his customer,
[ Ed Brown, of New Jersey. The article says, "The organ is designed
[ after the North Tonawanda Musical Instrument Works, Style 159. It
[ was designed to use the Wurlitzer Style 125 roll system and the only
[ deviation from the original is the addition of a glockenspiel which
[ was added upon the customer's request." -- Robbie
