Seek Tubing Diagram For Very Late Duo-Art Grand
By Benjamin Haass
Hi all, I just purchased a very late model Steck Duo-Art grand, from
the early 1930s, I would guess. It looks like it has been rebuilt
recently but the tubing is a bit of a nightmare. There are a couple
of valves connected to nothing, several trackerbar tubes just dangling,
places where large 1/4" or 3/8" tubes are connected directly to much
smaller tubes and taped, etc.
Does anyone have a tubing diagram or pictures of the underneath of the
piano, as well as the left side junction where the spoolbox removes
from the piano?
I've already found both the 1925 and 1927 service manuals online and
the configuration of my piano doesn't nearly match either of these.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
