Cost Of 4-minute 30-note Musical Box Tune
By Harald M. Mueller

Many thanks to Craig Smith for his remarks and for the pointer to
a motorized 30er strip player. All the reviews at Amazon essentially
say that the plastic wheels will be torn down after quite a short time
and the replacement wheels are just the same and wear down quickly, too.

Nevertheless, I think I'll get such a movement and get some brass bevel
gears to fix that problem, but this will happen in a few months, after
quite a few other (non-mechanical-music related) projects.

Thanks also to Jörgen Lang for his contribution -- but I can arrange
and punch arbitrary strips myself. It's only the movement I was
enquiring about.
