Ralph Schultz Crank Organ On KCHK Radio
By Ralph Schultz

To educate by radio, on "Live Musicians Friday"

Hello MMD personnel; well, here is my experience in radio. I was
fortunate to be invited to the KCHK radio studio in New Prague,
Minnesota, with my 32/57 Prinsen crank organ for a live appearance
on the show, "Live Musician Friday". Each week KCHK hosts live
musicians regardless of what the music is, with lots of polka bands
and concertina players.

I have appeared for four years in a row as a tradition for the opening
of the New Year. This year I teamed up with a concertina player and
we did eight different tunes together and was it was very interesting
as he had to wing it, for the most part.

This is one way to let people know what mechanical music is out
there and maybe something similar could be done in your area. We
get fed a breakfast and have fun playing music for 2-1/2 hours
(with commercials). If you want to listen without commercials go
to this web page then click on it:

or you can see some images on this web page:

This is for education as well a good listening station and promotion.
Thanks and happy listening.
