Seek Replica Movement for Polyphon Mikado
By Mark Cain

I've recently inherited a Polyphon Mikado. Some years ago my dad
removed the mechanism and took it apart, and was his project for his
retirement. Sadly, he passed last year but we can't seem to find the
mechanism. We think he must have either sent it to be restored, or
it's been lost over the years. His garage was a complete mess!

Now my question is, does anyone produce a replica movement? I've
heard of castings but as I'm new to Polyphons I thought I'd ask here.
Or would it better to get an original?

I want to keep the Mikado, as apparently it's been in my family for
a long time. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
