According to Rollin Smith's very fine book, "The Aeolian Pipe Organ
And Its Music", the organ at Lytham Hall, Lancashire, was in fact an
Aeolian, opus 1155.
The owner, Mr. J. Talbot Clifton, must have been an enthusiast, based
on the additions he ordered right away:
Order: June 4, 1910, 9 stops and 2-manual console (detached).
Order: July 15, 1910, 11 additional stops.
Order: August 9, 1910, 3 additional stops (Saxophone, Mixture,
Contra Bass).
Order: August 24, 1910, Viola added and everything shipped.
Order: January 7, 1911, 3 manual console, 5 rank Echo, 4 rank Solo,
Diapason.
Order: April 20, 1911, Pedal Violone and Trombone, Horn Diapason,
Violette.
This was about five years before Aeolian introduced the fully automatic
Duo-Art player, so this organ would have had a semi-automatic player
(notes only).
