Since my extensive yearning to hear the elusive David Stumpf roll known
as "Country Carousel No. 2" which he arranged for Bill Luca, it almost
seems like a genie magically popped up from out of a lamp and granted
me the chance to listen to most (if not all ten tunes) on the roll, and
now thanks to David Burgess of Maryland (with the help his fellow MBSI
member and friend TicTok997), my yearning has finally paid off.
Just uploaded today on TicTok997's Wurlitzan are tunes 4, 5, 9 & 10
(a.k.a. Waterloo, When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again, At A Georgia
Camp Meeting and Hello Trouble).
The first two tunes uploaded on TicTok997's channel which made me
find out that he had this roll were tune #6: Silver Threads And Golden
Needles and tune #8: In The Jailhouse Now.
Tunes 1, 2, 3 & 7 on the roll can also be found on YouTube, but are
not played off of TicTok's Wurlitzan as for now but who knows, perhaps
someday they will be!
Below I've attached links of the best quality recordings (in my eyes)
of a few of the tunes.
