I have been blessed with owning a 1920 Steinway OR cow and calf. The
piano is 100 per cent factory, with perfect ivory. There are around
500 rolls, mostly recut.
I'm downsizing. It is my hope to find someone who'll leave it in its
present strong playing condition, and ease it along entering its second
century.
Much of the pneumatic system is original pneumatic-bellows cloth. It
plays very strong. The piano's dark brown finish is checked. The bass
wires are as live as new, and never a broken string. Tight tuning pins.
It's rare to find a piano who, through no fault of it's two past owners
has made it through nearly 100 years in such graceful condition.
Price $25,000 including rolls, with the hope the new and much younger
owner will see it as a jewel worth preserving in it's original setting.
