I wanted to inform you about the passing of Henk Strengers on October
1st, 2018.  Henk was an enthusiastic collector of mechanical music
instruments, mainly music boxes.  He also had a vast collection of
documentation.  He wrote a lot of articles and also contributed to
Mechanical Music Digest.

At the age of 83 Henk was already selling and giving away a lot of
his collection.  Despite that, his death was still fairly unexpected.
He has done a great deal for the Dutch Pianola Association and other
groups regarding mechanical music.  He will be missed.
