Jim, Greetings from The Bronx; in regards to the unknown orchestrion
roll, it is most likely an "O" roll that was issued for use on the
Universal Player Piano Co. orchestrions that were built on the West
Coast during the 1980s and beyond. Their orchestrions featured what
can be construed as a regular player piano spool-box as opposed to the
normal "O" roll 10-tune spool-frame.
The rolls were modified O-rolls wherein the rolls were cut in lengths
of three and four tunes each, three rolls in total re-creating the
original 10-tune roll). (I have a handful of these rolls.)
In the last of the pictures, the longer slots on the left side of the
roll are in the correct positions for all the 'Off' lock-and-cancel
positions on the O-roll, followed by the shorter perforation which is
the 'Coin Trip' or Shut-off. Please refer to the article by Don Teach
