The Publications Working Group of the Musical Box Society of Great
Britain [MBSGB] is pleased to announce the publication in September,
2018, of two new books in the form of supplements to two of its earlier
publications, "The Organette Book" and "The Disc Musical Box".
Both supplements have been compiled by Kevin McElhone, the author
of the original books; each presents the additional information and
material on Organettes and Disc Musical Boxes that has come to light
since the original books closed for press in 2002 and 2012 respectively.
Each supplement is hard back, in ISO A4 format [8.27" × 11.70"], 100
pages in length and profusely illustrated in colour throughout.
The "Supplement to The Disc Music Box" has additional illustrations of
models, 89 additional lid pictures, additions to the lists of models,
patents, tune lists & serial numbers and a combined index to images in
the original book and its supplement.
The "Supplement to The Organette Book" has additional illustrations of
models, additions to lists of patents, a new section on trade cards,
tune lists & tuning scales and a combined index to images in the
original book and its supplement.
The supplements are available to order now at the following costs:

are occasionally available through on-line auctions; the following
publications, however, are still available:

the late Anthony Bulleid and by his successor Tim Reed.
- "The Nicole Factor in Mechanical Music" by Messrs Bellamy, Cunliffe
& Ison.
- "The Disc Musical Box" by Kevin McElhone.
