Unusual Tracker Bar on Aeolian Weber Pianola
By Thomas Binnall

[ Ref. Chris Grant in 180909 MMDigest ]

The 16 hole group in the center of the tracker bar are the triggers
for the tracking pneumatic bellows. A fairly badly edge tattered roll
(both edges) will be tracked from the center note holes. I have one
of these pianos; I've not seen another for 45 or more years.

Tom Binnall
Auburn, Washington

[ Tom wrote in 180907 MMD, "I've been using convertible car cloth
[ material, with no failures, for the past 3 centuries." He explains,
[ "Jody, I'm 93. If I want to exaggerate at my age, I'll do it! <lol>"
