George Steck Duo-Art Grand Crash Valve
By Leonardo Forti

I'm rebuilding a George Steck Duo-Art grand and, to my surprise,
I don't see the crash valve primary that's usual in all grand
expression boxes and in all Aeolian images. I see the pallet valve to
operate it from the Theme accordion, a nipple on one side probably to
actuate it, but no primary valve at all.

It's not simply missing, it never was there -- there are no screw holes
for it in the expression box. Is it somewhere else? Can somebody
help?
