Just in time for "Carousel Day" and the great summer band organ rally
season, we are pleased to release three more new Wurlitzer band organ
style 165 rolls. These newly-arranged rolls by Andy Park and Mikey
Mills are perforated by Play-Rite music and available for immediate
shipment in limited quantities.
Roll 6895 is a special requested "Boogie Woogie" roll arranged by
Andy Park. While one might think boogie music is best only heard on
the piano, you've never heard these tunes on the Wurlitzer band organ.
This is a must-have roll for anyone that can play the Wurlitzer 165
scale.
Roll 6894 fulfills a goal by Mikey Mills to put ten of the best,
well-known hot, popular tunes of the 1920s on a 165 roll. It's hard
to imagine why Wurlitzer omitted these.
Roll 6893 takes 10 tunes from rare style 150 rolls, either never
before released by Wurlitzer for the 165 scale, or lost, and expands
them to the 165 band organ scale. Mikey Mills took Wurlitzer's
arrangements directly from their style 150 roll, expanded them by
adding registers, percussion, octaves, pipes, and more to make these
mostly late 'teens selections sound just like full Wurlitzer released
style 165 rolls of that period. The result is delightful!
Ordering information, tune lists and actual recordings of several
selections from each roll are available here:

While you are there, check out previous 165 band organ roll releases,
still available in limited copies. Once sold out, there will be no
more!
