Seek 18-note Movements For New Song Arrangements
By Scott Reisfield

I would like to order 18-note music box mechanisms with arrangements
of songs that are not currently available. I can provide the music
for conversion to a suitable arrangement. Alternatively, I think
I can get the arranging done by a third party if I know exactly the
format required to convert to a functioning music box mechanism.

I have contacted Sankyo and Yunsheng. They don't seem interested.
In particular, as soon as I wrote to Sankyo that I would need some
kind of IP protection for the arrangement if I was paying for it, they
stopped answering my emails. Apparently, they want me to pay for the
arrangement _and_ they want to be able to sell it to direct competitors,
if any were to emerge.

Yunsheng just seems hard to reach. I don't get an answer from the
company, although I was specific as to my needs.

Is there anyone else who could supply mechanisms to me? I am willing
to pay for the arrangement and to order an initial quantity (200 each
of five different songs) for the test market. If successful I would
order additional units of these songs, and add additional songs,
perhaps as many as fifty different songs that would be added over time.
