FS: New Style 165 Music Rolls 6893 6894 6895
By Andrew Lardieri

Glenn Thomas is going to be announcing soon the newest set of
three band organ rolls for the Wurlitzer 165 scale. These rolls
include rolls 6893 and 6894, both arranged by Mikey Mills, and 6895
by the genius himself, Andy Park, who also arranged the two 165 rolls
I commissioned.

6893 is a roll of specially transcribed Wurlitzer 150 arrangements
from early numbered Wurlitzer 150 rolls which Mikey has put together
for the 165 scale (although tunes 8 and 9 also appear on two 165 rolls:
6606 and the lost 6608) resulting in a fully chromatic arrangement of
each tune which 150 playing organs lack for economic reasons.

The other latest roll by Mikey, 6894, is a special tribute roll to
the music of 1920's era ("The Roaring Twenties") and is composed of
many well-known hits from the time period, such as Ray Henderson's
"You're The Cream In My Coffee" and "Crazy Words, Crazy Tune".

Finally, Andy's latest roll 6895 is a special-themed Boogie Woogie roll
that includes some marvelous toe-tapping Boogie Woogie masterpieces
including the ever popular "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and many other
successes by many other great Boogie Woogie composers I'm sure we all
might recognize.
