All of the rolls in my Wurlitzer style 165 collection are factory, Andy

Park, or Rich Olsen arrangements.  What is the quality of the 165 rolls

converted from BAB?  Do they make good use of all of the BAB control

functions, and all 52 notes?

  [ To answer your own question, you need to compare the BAB 66 scale

  [ with the Wurlitzer 165 scale.  There were lots of differences in

  [ the two scales, most obvious in the percussion and the registers.

  [ Play-Rite, which retubed its perforator to transcribe BAB rolls to

  [ 165 rolls made many compromises, while maintaing the basic BAB style

  [ of arranging.  The result is that you either love the conversions

  [ or you hate them.  There are people in both camps.
