AMICA Bulletin July-August 2018 Edition Released
By Glenn Thomas
The AMICA Bulletin July-August 2018 edition has been released and what
a terrific variety of content is included. Have you ever seen the
great Nethercutt Collection in Southern California? AMICA's Southern
Calif. chapter had a meeting there and took the opportunity to produce
a great photo essay of the collection.
Another article tells the story of Bill Edgerton's project to replicate
the Seeburg KT Special. And there is an article making a detailed
comparison of the Ampico A and B expression systems. Then the story of
George Thomas, founder of boogie-woogie piano. And so much more!
AMICA members who subscribe to the electronic .pdf version have their
copies now. Those who receive print copies should have them in about
two or three weeks.
If you aren't an AMICA member, get the full year's worth of these great
publications, enjoy great fellowship, and gain access to all sorts of
archives, including rare MIDI versions of piano rolls.
