More about K. Harmas.  While he was visiting me in the 1970s I was
driving a pickup truck.  I mentioned to K. that I had to take the
truck in for new plugs, points and condenser.  (These parts were
necessary to maintain in those days.)  K. said he would help me do
the work and save me the expense of taking the truck to the local
auto mechanic.

He guided me through the process and taught me how to set the timing.
The results were perfect.  I asked K. where he learned the process.
He responded, "I taught the course at General Motors."

I never knew if he was joking or if that was the truth.  From that
day on I did my own truck maintenance and never had any trouble or
expense, thanks to K.
