Unknown Phonoliszt Violina Roll
By Paul Tuck

In the event that no one else knows what these delightful pieces are,
it happens to be a selection from the ballet music from Act Five of
'Faust,' the well known opera by Gounod -- in fact, it's the last four
numbers of seven. The four are entitled 'Variations de Cleopatre',
'Les Troyennes', 'Variations de Miroir' and Danse de Phryne', so maybe
this is roll No. 2 of a pair?

Regards,
Paul Tuck, London
