Rack & Pinion Tempo Control
By Ed Gaida

[ Ref. John Tuttle in 180113 MMDigest ]

I have an orphan drawer with the same type of Tempo control
arrangement; however, the drawer is not an Ampico drawer but
that of what I suspect is an ArtEcho system.

It also has the smallest wind motor I have ever seen -- it will
fit in a cigar box! The drive sprocket is quite large indicating
that the little fellow turned quite fast.
