A recent arrival of a piano roll lot from an eBay seller included
a derelict specimen with no identification apart from the digits 6742
punched at the end, and U.S. Music-style punching (only holes, and
no webbed "slots").
The accompanying MIDI file was the scanned result. If possible, give
it a listen and see if it jogs your memory; thanks.

[ It sounds to me like a lively two step, in song form (verse and
[ chorus), likely from the WW1 era. The refrain begins and ends
[ with "Be it ever so humble (there's no place like home)."
