I don't like making this post, but I am almost 85 and having medical
problems. I would like to pass on some of my jigs and fixtures and
knowledge to a qualified player piano technicians.
I would like to pass on some of my tricks of the trade that I have
developed in the 45 years of player work. I have an indexing mechanism
for the manufacturing of Ampico, and Wurlitzer valves. I have a device
that sets valve caps, and measures the valve travel.
I have screws that range from size 0 to plate screws. Also hinge
screws. These screws are threaded to the head in nickel plated or
brass. (If you do a good restoration, you have to have the parts.)
I have stock of various action felts and clothes and other parts.
Over the years I have collected many stacks, pumps, expression units,
etc, and grand drawers. I have a full Ampico A grand action, minus one
drawer roller, which I think I have. I have a large storage area with
many player parts from various player pianos.
I live in Sacramento, California, where my wife and I owned Lemon's
Player Piano Service for many years. We accumulated lots and lots
and lots of piano and organ parts. Please help me get this stuff
out of here. If there is a more appropriate site to share this on
please notify me. If you are interested in anything, or have a need
for a specific item, email me at rslemon150@gmail.com.geentroep
